PromptVault is a Chrome extension for saving, organizing, searching, copying, and improving AI prompts.

PromptVault respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information PromptVault processes, why it is used, and the third-party services involved in providing PromptVault’s features.
Prompts saved to your PromptVault library are stored locally in your browser using the Chrome Storage API.
PromptVault does not automatically upload your entire saved prompt library to a remote server.
Importing and exporting prompt libraries is initiated by the user.
Users may create a PromptVault account to access AI features and PromptVault Pro.
When you create or use an account, PromptVault processes information necessary to provide authentication and account functionality, including your email address, account identifier, authentication information, subscription status, and AI usage information.
PromptVault uses Firebase services to provide authentication and account-related functionality.
PromptVault provides AI-powered features including Improve, Rewrite, and Analyze.
When you choose to use an AI feature, the prompt you selected is transmitted to PromptVault’s backend for processing and may be sent to an AI service provider in order to generate the requested result.
PromptVault does not automatically send your entire locally stored prompt library for AI processing. Prompt text is transmitted when you choose to use an AI feature on that prompt.
AI-generated results may be inaccurate or incomplete. Users should review important information before relying on AI-generated output.
PromptVault offers an optional paid subscription called PromptVault Pro.
Payments and subscription management are processed by Stripe.
PromptVault may receive and store information necessary to determine your subscription status, such as Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and whether your PromptVault Pro subscription is active.
Payment card information is entered through Stripe’s payment services. PromptVault does not directly receive or store your full credit or debit card number.
PromptVault may maintain usage information associated with your account, such as the number of AI requests used during a usage period. This information is used to enforce Free and Pro usage limits and provide account functionality.
PromptVault is not designed to collect:
PromptVault does not use its host permissions to read or modify the content of websites you visit.
PromptVault does not sell user data.
Information is shared with service providers only as necessary to operate PromptVault’s features, such as authentication, AI processing, account infrastructure, and payment processing.
These service providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable agreements.
PromptVault uses reasonable technical measures intended to protect account and service data. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
Users should avoid submitting highly sensitive, confidential, or personally identifying information to AI features unless they are comfortable having that information processed to provide the requested AI functionality.
Account, subscription, and usage information may be retained as necessary to provide PromptVault, maintain subscription status, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal or operational requirements.
Locally stored prompts remain in the user’s browser unless the user deletes them, clears the extension’s storage, or removes the extension and its associated local data.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as PromptVault changes or new features are introduced.
Material changes will be reflected by updating this policy and its effective date.
